Zionist Youth Movement

Jews who Rescued Jews in Occupied France

The Mouvement de jeunesse sioniste (MJS) (Zionist Youth Movement) was a Jewish organization whose leaders dedicated themselves to aiding and rescuing Jews in Occupied France in 1943 - 44.  They worked undercover and at great risk.  Although they touched the lives of many, their work remains little known today.  Even some of those whom the MJS hid in France or smuggled into Switzerland do not know that the organization played a part in their survival.
